Popped in for an EPIC mixed grill for 2/3 people and will definitely be back! Wasn't that busy when we were there but gets real busy sometimes. Food was excellent and service was quick and friendly.
Wow, I had a lovely lunch here earlier today (5th May 2025) with my family, which is actually just next door to where I work. It's also the first time we've ever been in here, and we will certainly be back for more, as the food was very tasty and such great value too!! Would absolutely recommend this Greek restaurant, especially if you're looking for a quick bite to eat or an evening meal. They also do takeaways, so it's definitely worth checking out for sure!!! The customer service was also excellent. I can't wait to pop back in there sometime to try some of the other great things from their menu!! This time, I ordered the mixed pitta wrap which included chicken and pork, tomato, onion, lettuce, tzatziki and chips (along with a hot chocolate!!)... and it was all delicious!!! Yum yum!!!!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for ages and it did not disappoint!! Great atmosphere and friendly staff… Now the food! We all had the same chicken gyro wraps and they were delicious. Chicken was full of flavour and couldn’t believe how light and soft the wraps were. For dessert we had baklava which was equally tasty, especially those with a sweet tooth!! I had a lovely chat with the owner, Joe. He has a real passion for food and told me their kebab meat is as authentic as they can get… Imported from Greece! How do you recommend Montague Gyros and we will definitely be back.
Cozy, welcoming, and consistently delicious. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the menu has something for everyone. I’ve been here a few times now, and every visit leaves me looking forward to the next one. Highly recommend the [chicken gyros plates]—it’s phenomenal!
During a trip to Worthing, we were torn between a good old fashioned fish & chips by the seaside, or Montague Gyros. We were so glad we went for the latter. I went for the mixed gyros plate, and the mound of food that came to the table was both plentiful and delicious. The tzatziki was tasty, the pitta bread lovely and hot. Felt very satisfied once I'd cleared my plate. Will definitely be making Montague a staple of any future trip to Worthing.
The food here is so delicious, the portions generous, reasonably priced, and the staff are extremely kind. It’s unassuming from the outside, but trust me when I say it’s not your average kebab shop. Plenty of options for veggies - we love the mixed veg grill (massive!), Greek salad, and homemade falafels and hummus. We’d been twice in the past where they had run out of falafels, that’s how popular they are. This most recent time we split the mixed grill, each got a side of the falafels, and a small portion of the spicy feta which was fabulous with the warm pitta bread. More than enough food for two people with big appetites. Got our eyes on the baklava for next time! A great addition to Worthing.
We had a wonderful family dinner at this authentic Greek restaurant. The only thing is that next time I will order only starters, because the portions are unrealistically large))) Thank you very much, it was delicious.
Lovely little restaurant. Staff welcoming and friendly. The pork gyros was HUGE! I will be back to try another flavour. Nice clean toilets, too!
